How do I generate spherical images using the command line

How do I use command line rendering to generate spherical images,Can you use the configFile parameter, and if so, how to set it.

If not, do you have any plans for the next release?

Currently that isn't possible both neither from command or config file. We have it in the TO DO list but cannot give ETA. We will inform you when some development is in progress.
