  • animate object visibility

    Dear Vantage team
It would be greate if we can use vantage live link to render animations of objects visiblity, gradually. Often we want to make things appear and disappear in our scenes and the easiest way would be to keyfram object visibility in object properties of max. Currently vantage supports 0 or 1 not the inbetween values.
The only way I have currently found way to animate is throught refraction of material, but it is laborious.

        Hi daubert_sebastien,

No, there isn't much development on the gradual interpolation of object visibility. I will try to bump up its priority.

        Best regards,
        Alexander

You should be able to animate the opacity of a material, and perhaps link this to a controller? Obviously you'd need to duplicate the materials for each object that fades.
