  • cameras in Vantage

    Dear Vantage team
Vantage has been an amazing tool to fast animate cameras and showcase architectural project while navigating.
It could go a step further if you can add more cinematic ways to film in Vantage. Like orbit around object is not now possible inside Vantage. or if you can add camera shake. of course all these can be done manually inside max but I consider Vantage the perfect tool to fast , intuitive cinematography..
A step even further can be the following.
IF you can enable VR preview inside Vantage (with minimum settings , no GI, no reflections,) using oculus rift or quest, just to capture , record camera using controller ( using stick to change fov, dof...) and record this physical way of filming your project in Vantage, so that you can then render.

Hi digital_technologies, thanks for the suggestions,

orbit around object is not now possible inside Vantage
Have you tried switching to Navigate around selection in the main toolbar, then select an object, View -> Frame Selected/Scene and after that when you orbit with the mouse you'll actually orbit around the pivot of the selected object: video Or this is not what you need?

this is a way to navigate , orbit around an object, but when you try to save this orbit into animation of cameras in order to render a beautiful orbit around object shot it is not possilbe.

Right, it's not suitable for High Quality/offline rendering, we'll have it in mind when we get to improving our animation tools.
