Orthographic Request #2 (smaller items)

Hi. Thank you previously for providing a workaround for orthographic views. It works brilliantly on large sites such as landscapes.
However, I tried the same settings on a much smaller mechanical part and it threw the camera far off.
I may have dozens of these so I'd have to redo this every single time.

Is there at least a way to save a preset of a custom camera setting (ie. Orthographic Top) to be used in different files?
Also, is there any possibility of bumping up a formal ortho camera request up this wishlist?

The only solution I can think of at the moment is to create a top camera with "orthography"(very low FOV value) parameters and export it as a vrscene. In Vantage import it using either File>Import of Drag'n'drop and choose to import only the Cameras(provided you left the option in Edit>Preferences>Files to Ask for dropped scenes.)in the scene you have set.

I will try to bump the priority for a proper ortho camera but it is not a priority for us at the moment.

Thanks Alexander. I started using Vantage for production a while back without realizing this was a limitation. I have a template I work from but occasionally a client asks for an orthographic view and I'm likely going to have to come up with an entirely separate way of matching different methods.
I was a long-time VRay user ages ago but switched to Octane and now I'm back having converted thousands of files. The orthographic camera checkbox for Octane is one thing I terribly miss so that would be great if you could.
