    Dear Vantage team
I am currently working on an archviz film, using Vantage standalone, which is much faster than live link render animation, specially when you are using anima 4d.
There is one thing that would make my life much easier and save me tones of time.
I have 2 very powerful gpus, but actually the way Vantage is setup it makes no difference when you render sequences. I know that multi gpu rendering (I mean being able to render my sequence in half time , because i am using a second gpu) is not easy task.
Instead I would like to make it so, that when I hit render sequence, it asks me which gpu to use for this rendering, and then the rendering takes place without freezing vantage, while I will be able to continue working in Vantage, setting up my next sequence. Usually the time it takes to render one sequence, is the same as the time you need to prepare your next one.
This will be very intuitive. IF this is hard, maybe one other possibility, could be in the render devices, to make it so that you dont need to restart vantage when you want to switch between gpus, and then add a button to open the same scene with the second gpu.

At some point in the past during lavina time, you shared a link to a forum on how i can setup two shortcuts on desktop, one launching vantage with one gpu and the other launching vantage with the other gpu. can you please guide me on how to do this.
It is an emergency, in order to meet my deadline, with rendering sequences
    Thank you very much

      Hi digital_technologies,

We will consider your suggestion, in the meantime you can create 2 shortcuts and add -d=# where # is the device number which you want to use. You can check the correct # from the debug log in Vantage.
In the example I am setting to use the 1st GPU: https://drive.google.com/uc?id=1OlE7...D20-mlmAxwhoc1

      Best regards,
      Alexander
