anima 4d live link timeline frozen

dear vantage team
When i work live link with anima 4d and you enable use render state in IPR, animation timeline is very very lagging, actually not working

Hi, thanks for posting. Are you using the timeline in 3ds Max or in Vantage?
If you are using 4D models they are updated frame by frame so having lag is expected. Could you share a video of the issue? Is it actually freezing or lagging?
A lag will exist in 3ds Max as well, so this could not be a Vantage issue.
You can optimise the performance by using these options:


Coloured 4D actors = yellow on viewport and animated texture in render
Textured 4D actors = animated texture everywhere

If you experience freezing we will have to investigate this further.
