    Hello,
    It would be great to have some kind of support for limiting scattering fog to a specifc area - you support VRayEnvironmentFog via live link so would be great to perhaps add support for nodes where you can assign a piece of geomatry such as a square of other shapes to limit the fog to a define space.

    Since there is no support for volumterics on vray material and since you already have VRayEnvironmentFog implemented adding nodes might be simpler?

    You can specify a texture for the density of the VRayEnvironmentFog inside 3dsMax and Vantage will use it.
    But what you are requesting will be more efficient with gizmos which we don't support.

      Ok thats useful to know, thanks, it can certainly help add an extra layer of control over the scattering fog - but it doesn't really help in trying to confine the fog to a localised area from what I can tell...

        Hi rita_sobral,

        We have the request for limiting fog in a container logged in our system under LAV-1505. I cannot provide an ETA on it but keep an eye out in the Announcement section of the forum where we post when new builds are available with their changelogs.
