We have fur support logged in our system (LAV-592) and it is under development right now. Please keep an eye out in the Announcement section of the forum where we post when new builds are available with their changelogs.

Yes, Max Hair & Fur (WSM) is not supported in Vantage because V-Ray doesn't support it and export it. It must be implemented in V-Ray GPU and V-Ray Standalone first and then for us to add support. However we added support for V-Ray fur and Ornatrix or Hairfarm plugins for hair.
