  • Glare Effect

    Hello, Everyone.

When will vantage have a glare effect? I believe this is important for architectural visualization

I am not sure what you mean, it is there and on by default

      There is only bloom currently.

I see. I didn't know that there was a difference.

I think he means Lens Flare.. We have a bloom effect that creates a star effect for each light/highlight on render image.
In real-life photography, lens flare may appear on a really bright light, but I think for rendering it will be enough if only the sun can produce lens flare (similar to Enscape render).

Lens flare and glare are different things.

A thread on Reddit explains well how both work.
            https://www.reddit.com/r/EnglishLear...are_and_glare/

Glare in rendering for architecture is essential not only for the sun, but also for generating the "stars" in artificial lights.

Here are some examples of glare in photography, this takes away the ugly appearance that vantage lights have.
