This request is a continuum of my last two requests regarding vantage file and open as configuration only.
So every vantage file stores the following information. settings of post production, sun, lights, fog, cosmos assets... plus all the vrscenes taht you have drag dropped.
Can you make it so that when you open vantage as configuration only to give you the possibility to just import the vrscenes that have been imported in that vantage file without affecting any other vantage settings.
I will explain my user case for such a request.
I have volumetric 4d people ( from anima 4d and rednerpeople) that I drag drop import into empty vantage scene. There I make compositions for activities, like people walking or people on cafe, or arab people .....
There I might have imported several vrscenes. Then I save as vantage file for instance bar people vantage file. In this file I only care about people , no post production, no sun, no fog, nothing but people configuration.
Then I open my vantage file of one architectural scene that I have heavily worked to figure out the perfect lighting, I added cosmos assets, add fog and postproduction, plus I created nice cameras and camera animation.
So I only want to add the actors (which is not one vrscene but one vantage file of multiple vrscenes draged dropped) so that everythning stays the same and I just have my actors to place them in my scene. I mean I dont want my scene to inherit the settings from the imported as configuration vantage scene of people but to keep the configuration of
my architectural scene ,plus just have the actors.
This as you can understand is very helpful , cause it is part of what I consider the best workflow in Vantage standalone for archviz.
First you edit your architectural project, by making the best composition of cameras, lights, cosmos assets, atmospherics, post production, camera animations..... and the at the end you drag drop your actors or other animated objects (trees) that work as protagonists in your film. Very often though these actors are already a vantage file and you dont want to destroy the setting of the arvchitectural scene.
Hope i made it clear
Thnaks you very much in advance!!
