Interface: Scroll to adjust speed

I know that scrolling is for zoom, and that should never change.
BUT: What if somebody is pressing alt and would scroll (up or down) at the same time, and it would adjust the move speed? (Maybe I'm overlooking this option, or perhaps there is another way for this) In VR but also in general, it is slightly annoying to get out of the movement to adjust movement speed so to speak.
Keep up the good work!!

To clarify: I think what I sort of wish is a way to increase or decrease movement speed without number punching.

Thank you for the suggestion! We already have it logged in our system under LAV-1891 but can you please post this and all future ideas in the Chaos Vantage Idea portal where other users can vote on suggested ideas and see statuses(Pending, Accepted, Planned, Released, Declined) on ideas. Additionally you will be notified on status change and added comment.

Thank you, I will drop this wish there, great system!

P.s. I noticed that usernames in the Idea Portal are actual names... It is not a problem for me, but could be for others.
