We've got another tutorial ready: Houdini to Maya Alembic Workflow: https://docs.chaosgroup.com/display/...embic+Workflow
The tutorial shows how to export an alembic from Houdini and import it with V-Ray for Maya using different file info to set the proper materials/textures.
