  • New Tutorial: V-Ray Decal with V-Ray Displacement

    Hey guys,

Check our new How-to tutorial on V-Ray Decal with V-Ray Displacement here: https://docs.chaos.com/pages/viewpag...ageId=82299841
It shows you how to add and control V-Ray Decal as well as how to apply V-Ray Displacement on it with V-Ray for 3ds Max.

A second part of the tutorial, showing a more advanced workflow, is coming soon.

    Kind regards,
    Gergana

And Part II is out now: https://docs.chaos.com/x/bs-nB
It shows you how to stack multiple V-Ray Decals on top of each other and control their order. You will also learn how to do complex masking of the projected V-Ray Decals' materials.
The workflow shown applies to V-Ray for 3ds Max.

    Kind regards,
    Gergana

Find more about Decal usage in our latest tutorial: How to Create Snow with VRayDecal. There you'll learn how to make a decal affect only specific geometries, as well as how to control the decal’s bumps and spread on the affected geometries.

      Kind regards,
      Gergana
