Dongle VS Online and tranferring to NEW PC

Hi guys

At some point I "think" I updated my dongle licenses (VRay 3) to online licenses. How can I check if I'm using dongle or online?

Also, I may be migrating to a new PC soon, how do I get the license OFF my old PC and ONTO my new pc?

As far as I can see they are not migrated. A simple test is to stop the dongle from the license server's page - http://localhost:30304 on the license server computer, refresh the web page and check if the licenses are still there.
If you use the latest license server you can also click on a certain license in the interface and you'll be able to see where are your licenses (dongle, online, both, how many etc).


The licenses are not associated with a certain computer, but with a certain carrier (dongle or username in case of online licensing). To move to a new computer you can install the license server and log in with your CG credentials to activate if you use OLS. You can deactivate the old license server (Online licensing - >Deactivate) if you won't use it anymore, but the new one will work if you don't do it too.
