  • Licensing on the render node

    Hi,

I have installed vray on my main machine and everything works great. I've also installed vray as a render slave on a second machine but when I try to use distributed rendering, I get an error saying that the connection is being actively refused. All necessary ports are opened and exceptions to the firewall have been added.

Navigate to http://127.0.0.1:30304/#/bundle/rendernode on the computer with V-Ray license server installed.
You need to have at least 2 render node licenses to be able to render with both the local machine and an additional render node.

If you do have enough licenses - check your license settings -
You can also render only with the remote machine if you un-check "Use local host" in DR settings - https://docs.chaosgroup.com/display/...deringSettings
