License fetching after Max has launched

Hi,

Due to some work that's been done by our service provider the internet drops every once in a while.
Might be just a few minutes, but when it happens while opening max my license is missing.
Loading large scenes takes a 15-20min so that's always a disappointment when everything is loaded, without a vray license...
Is there a way to get the license when max has already launched?

You can engage / release a license if you open/ close "Render settings" or Material editor which both require a V-Ray license. A render node license is engaged while rendering.

If you have an unstable Internet connection it'll be a good idea having a dedicated machine for a license server, borrow all licenses on it and point the computers with V-Ray's license settings towards it:

That way you be able to use the licenses up to 14 days with no internet and the borrowing can be set to auto-renew when an internet connection is found.
