  • Render node licenses

I have two render nodes and only one render node license, sometimes I want to use one machine over the other in distributed rendering or backburner, how can I move the license between those two machines? It's online license system, not dongle. Deactivating the server on DR settings doesn't work, I get "Could not obtain a lincese (10061)" message.

Deactivating the server from Backburner or DR settings should be enough. The license error is probably due to incorrect license settings - make sure that the settings on the slaves are pointing towards the license server computer - https://docs.chaosgroup.com/display/...cense+Settings

Another reason for such error can be a firewall blocking the connection between the render nodes (TCP port 30304) and the license server computer - make sure that port is allowed on all machines.

Ports are open, license info is correct. Still getting the same license error. Tried it with the firewall off and still same error.
