Hello,

Please download and install the latest release of the Chaos Group License Server:
https://download.chaosgroup.com/license-server

You will be asked to activate it during the installation - please use the credentials for your chaosgroup.com username that you have used to register for the Trial.

If you are still getting an error in 3ds Max afterwards please send us a screenshot from the error and a screenshot from the page at http://localhost:30304 to support@chaosgroup.com

I have this all he time for both Phoenix FD and V-Ray. Normally it helps to restart the session and in some cases a reboot is required. Very annoying on situations when a customer is rushing with his renderings.

If you use a dongle - try a clean reinstall of the dongle drivers - https://docs.chaosgroup.com/display/...Dongle+Drivers
Also - make sure you're using the latest license server.
