  • Can only post on the licencing page....Ummmm, why?

    Hi.

Can anyone tell my why I don't have an 'new topic' button on Vray for max:: General, for example?

I'm going to have to post my main query here..

We've got Vray 3.6.... We've only recently upgraded to it from 3.4.

I'm a bit confused where we stand with Vray. Can we get Vray Next or is our account only signed up for 3.X ?

The download page doesn't have Vray Next available.

I want to try out the cloud but it says 'Install the latest official version of V-Ray Next for 3ds Max or V-Ray 3.6 for SketchUp, Rhino, Revit or Modo.'

    Can anyone help clarify this?

    Thanks,

    Sean

For forum posting rights and upgrades to V-ray Next - please message us at sales@chaosgroup.com (include your forum username in the e-mail).
You can apply for the Cloud Beta here - https://www.chaosgroup.com/vray/cloud
The latest V-Ray builds have integrated cloud submitter. If you use an older one - you can export a project into a .vrscene file and upload to the cloud manually.

      Ok. Thanks.

When you say latest builds, does that include 3.6.04 ?

I've registered for the beta.... installed the client but the cloud icon doesn't appear on my Vray toolbar.

      I'll send an email.

A button will be included in V-Ray Next, currently with V-Ray 3 you have to submit scenes manually.
