V-Ray Next Edu License Usage on Two Machines

Hey

I searched the forums and didn't found an answer. The question quite simply put is that is one license only available for one machine? There is the whole "borrowing" thing if I have V-Ray installed on two machines and would want to use it on the secondary machine as well instead of my primary? Thanks

If you want to use the license on more than one machine it's best not to borrow the licenses. That way it'll be synced over the internet and will be usable from both machines (one at a time). If you need to borrow the license you can still use the license on 2 machines, but computers should be in the same network (or at least to see each other over the network). After that, you'll have to point the license settings of the 2nd machine towards the 1st one (the one with the borrowed license) - https://docs.chaosgroup.com/display/...cense+Settings
That way both machines will obtain a license from the same license server instance since it's borrowed there.
