Migrating Licenses

Our computer lab flooded and we do not have access to the computer that was previously running our VRay license server with the dongle. I do however, have the dongle.
How can I proceed to migrate our licenses online without access to the original server?

You can set up a license server on any other machine, the licenses are not associated with a particular license server (unless you use online licensing and you borrow them there, but that's not your case).
You should:

1. Install a license server. It can be downloaded from https://download.chaosgroup.com/license-server

2. Install the dongle drivers - https://www.wibu.com/downloads-user-...uKey_for_Users

3. Plug in the dongle, preferably in a USB 2 port

4. Navigate in your browser to http://localhost:30304

5. Log in with your username - https://docs.chaosgroup.com/display/...tup-Activation

6. Transfer the licenses as described here - https://docs.chaosgroup.com/display/...icenses+Online
