  • Monthly/ annual pricing

Wouldn't it just be better if you offering a license where you weren't being penalized for a shorter period of time. Instead of trying to incentivize people to buy longer periods by hiking up the shorter time frames, just keep them the same price ratio. Does a higher monthly price make more people use vray or less?

    If its $470 for 12 months, make it $40 for 1. And wow, $167/year for a rendernode but $70 for a month, $10 less than a workstation....crazy.

Vlado mentioned in a post earlier that when a new cracked version comes out, monthly subscriptions plummet. That might have something to do with it. Most software has an incentive to do an annual and some 2-3 year contracts. When I managed 12+ seats of Revit, 3DS MAX, and Navis Works, doing 3 years saved us a lot and I am sure it helped with their cashflow.
