  • Universal License

I'm currently working on a project for a client and am pretty much tired of Maya and its issues, and am looking to swap to Max and its issues, but at the same time Im looking at upgrading to Next. It would be awesome if I could get any kind of indication if there will be a universal license and if its going to be anytime soon so I can spend my tiny resources wisely.

Thanks for your request. We are considering such universal licensing in the future but we can not commit to a particular time-frame. We will inform all users accordingly when that policy is in place and until then it is up to you to decide if you want to switch from V-Ray for Maya to V-Ray for Max. Upgrade from v3 to Next is undoubtedly faster and easier to use and will save you rendering time.

Thanks for the reply, if there was a more indie friendly monthly cost I would have.

LOL...I have no comment other than your opening phrase "pretty much tired of Maya and its issues, and am looking to swap to Max and its issues" made me laugh, so thanks for that
