New OS drive - dongle license

Hi Guys

I'll be swopping my OS and Programs drive, for a new one (same pc, just new drive), so everything will be re-installed. My V-Ray Next workstation license (and V-Rray 3.0 render node licenses) is still on my dongle I think.

Do I need to do anything before taking out the old drive, or can I simply just re-install on the new drive and make sure the dongle is still plugged in?

The only thing is to install the dongle drivers and the license server after reinstalling everything.

Hello,

If your licenses are still located on a dongle, you will need to install the latest WibuKey Runtime 6.51/2, in order for your OS to recognise it. You can download the driver from the following page:

After you install the driver, install V-Ray and the Chaos License server. Go to the Chaos License server page (http://localhost:30304) and make sure that your dongle licensing is enabled. Send us screenshots from there to support@chaosgroup.com, if your issue continues.
