Vray Render node constantly "in use"

Hi,
About an hour ago my Vray stopped working, "Could not obtain license (-98 ) : There are no available licenses of this type on the chaosgroup license server"

When I log into my chaosgroup account, my Render Node license displays as "in use", and the IP-adress where it is supposedly in use is my own computer. Have tried restarting, reinstalling the license server, tried with several scenes etc.

yep classic vray licensing failure. i whined about this ages ago and got backchat about how robust it was lol....same issue as you
recommend sending a complaint to email and posting on facebook, maybe with consistent pressure licensing will get looked at.

Happened to me a while ago, contact support, they were very helpful. Issued me with a temporary licence to keep me up and running while they fixed the issue.

have you tried the discord account? not sure if there is more activity there?

No idea it existed. It resolved itself anyhow, but thanks for the tip. I'll keep it in mind

Rebooted 4 times and the status cleared. Phew.
