V-Ray Licencing Error (-197)

Hi I'm getting the below licencing error:




I've had a quick flick through the forum but it seems like people who posted with this error were advised on what to do privately. I'm not sure what's causing this issue, as far as I'm aware our licence is still valid and IT thinks the licence is being hosted on out own server. We certainly aren't using a dongle.

Any assistance you could provide is much appreciated.

First thing to check is your license server status web page "127.0.0.1:30304" if you have it installed locally on the same machine. Please check if you are able to see your V-Ray Next for 3ds Max license on this web page so it responds to the build you currently installed,
it is very important to check the installed build and the license you have, because in most cases the clients install a build that doesn't have a license for. For example you have V-Ray 3.0 for 3ds Max license, but you are trying to install and work with V-Ray Next for 3ds Max build. If your license corresponds to the V-Ray build you installed and you still have an issue, it will be best to contact us at support@chaosgroup.com or through the contact form in our web page www,chaosgroup.com,
