  • Vray 5 - too early?

    Hello together,

first I have to say, you made a very, very good job! The new features in Vray 5 are great, really great!

BUT - for me it is not possible to work with it. Too many bugs - Hair doesn't work with textures, many plants (Laubwerk trees are very great for me to work) doesn't work, a good material-converter - sorry I miss and so on... I think I will try Vray 5.0 in maybe more than half a year, if it works fine.

I think, it would be better to fix the most of the bugs before publishing. OK, a lot of guys can play with it - I have to make money with my work!

Sorry for my critical words, but I'm not able to work with the new version, unfortunately. The best car is unuseable, if you have noch wheels on it...

    Best regards,

    Harry

    Hi HarrySeidl

Thanks for the feedback - I'm purely guessing you are referring to V-Ray 5 for Cinema4D. Keep in mind that V-Ray 5 is an entirely new product developed by Chaos that has been written from the ground up - we are listening to our customers and, naturally, there are still things on our to-do lists.

That being said, we're aware of similar issues and fixes should be coming in the following updates. Best would be to head to the V-Ray for Cinema4D Forum section and post your issues with exact descriptions over there so you can get assistance.
