I have a premium license, with one desktop and one laptop. Do I need to buy a second node license? I see that an annual on is $190, and to do it monthly, it would be $900. Why such a huge price difference?

Over a week and no response to my ticket. My need has come and gone!

What does that mean, "exceptionally high number of inquiries"? Nine days and no response to my ticket?

Did you get a response...? If so, apologies if you already know this.
I'm pretty sure that your exsiting license will let you work on either your laptop or your workstation, but NOT at the same time. So, if you're working on the laptop and sending images out to render on your workstation, then yes, you will need to buy a render node licence.
The price difference is because they are trying to make the annual cost look more appealing.I have a spare perpertual VRAY 5 or VRAY Next node license I can sell you - you are allowed to transfer licenses.
