Chaos license server start with windows?

Hello!

Does Chaos license server start with windows, or must a user login to Windows for it to actual start?

It it doesn't start with Windows, is it possible to add it as a service so it does?

The license server starts with the Windows boot. However since version 6.0.0 the license server is a process and no longer service. If you want to use it as a service for now the workaround is to download and install version 5.5.5 which is the last version working as a service.

The function of running a windows licenceserver as a service seems like a very odd thing to remove! And will probably lead to unnecessary downtime for companies, we shouldn't have to do workarounds to have this functionality.

We are aware, the service functionality will be re introduced in future update of the license server.

5.5.5 no longer works after the update of 28th, you need 5.5.6:
