We are a tertiary institution running several thousand workstations . We are running Enscape 3.5.6 but our tutors have requested 4.1 . Because of the forum noise I'm hearing around licencing for 4.1 we have declined these requests to upgrade , for now . Sharing our floating licenses as suggested by Chaos is not practical on any level . Our users have standard user rights and cannot install anything . Given the issue with version 6 of the Chaos licensing server not installing as a service why can't Chaos update the current installer to run like the earlier 5.5.5 license server ? I've done some testing with the 5.5.5 license server installer and it does seem to be running as a Windows service , not requiring a logged in user .
