Installed license server 6.2.1 b but it fails to start

Hello, ran an update on new machine, and vray license server stopped working, so i went to http://localhost:30304/#/bundle/maya and the web page is unavailable.

So i uninstalled license server and then reinstaleld and still no luck and i still get webpage unavailable.

PC is behaving oddly once license servier is insttalled a powershell/cmd window keep flashing up on desktop continuously, its very fast and i cannot read what is is doing, but this happens continuoiusly until i either un install the server or go to windows>all>chaos>stop license server

any ideas?

Uninstall the license server then delete the VRLService folder in %Appdata%\Chaos. Download and install version 5.5.6 of the license server from here:

Im just trying a system restore, once complete i wil test and if it is still not working, ill do as you suggeest. Once i install 5.5.6 shoul i update it to 6.2 which i believe i need to run vray now

that worked a treat, so its ok for me to leave 5.5.6 and not update to latest license server. what was the problem?

5.5.6 is updated to work with the new certificates so its perfectly fine to use it.
