  • Vray License for Sketchup

    Hello,

I'm running Vray for Sketchup on a imac and I'm having trouble connecting to the online license server. There is a sketchup notification which says it is unable to check out the license and when I try to go to the license server I'm told that the address can't be reached.
Has anyone else had this issue? It seems that either the server is down, which would seem unlikely, or the connection is being blocked by my computer.

If it helps i'm running High Sierra on the Mac and have the license server 4.5.1 ADV, which I think is the latest.

Any help would be appreciated, I need to render some images for a project.

    Thanks,

    Simon

If the license server is installed on the same computer you're using SketchUp on - try reinstalling the license server - https://download.chaosgroup.com/down...dalone-451-adv
After that - navigate to http:/localhost:30304 in th elicense server menu and check if you can see your license listed.

If the license server is installed on another computer - make sure TCP port 30304 is not blocked for communication (incoming and outgoing traffic) between your machine and the license server machine.
