Moving license to another version of Max

Been working with Max 2017 and Vray 3.6 (using dongle) and have just installed Max 2018.

In Max 2018 Vray is not shown as a renderer from which to choose - I take it this is because it's assigned to Max 2017? If so, how do I switch it across (and back, should I need to) ?

You need to download and install V-Ray for 3ds Max 2018 from the following page:

https://download.chaosgroup.com/?product=47&platform=49

V-Ray has different builds for the different instances of 3ds Max.
