Renewing Student Licensing

Hi there. I am a little unclear as to the process to update my student license of V-Ray for Maya... I originally ordered my dongle-licensed version through one of your online retailers, and now it is time for me to renew. Previously, they had listed two different versions available--a version that included a dongle and a renewal version (software only). That is no longer the case, they only list one version. Is that because of the switch to online licensing? To be honest, I prefer using my dongle at home so I don't have to worry when I have a spotty internet connection. How to do I go about renewing my dongle-enabled license? Thanks in advance.

When ordering - state that you'd like the license on your dongle (best to send them the SN of the dongle). Once the license is purchased - please generate a .wbc file from the dongle - https://docs.chaosgroup.com/display/...nse+Server+4.x
and send it attached to sales@chaosgroup.com. We'll generate an update file for the dongle based on that.
