Installing single license on second machine

If I have a license for a single installation is it possible to install it on a second machine but only to use one license at a time? In other words pull the dongle from one machine then put it into the second machine to render with it? Just to be clear only rendering with one license at a time.

I'm building a new machine for myself but I want to keep the old machine a backup in case my main computer has a problem mid job, so I would like ideally to be able to fire up the old machine in an emergency, stick the dongle in it and be good to go. Is that possible?

Yes, you can install V-Ray on as many machines as you want, but if you have only 1 license, you will be able to use it only on one of the machines.
