The single-workstation annual license comes with (1) GUI license and (1) Render node. Does that mean I can work on one machine, while having a render node installed on another? And if I can have a render node installed on a 2nd machine simultaneously, can it be used as a spawner? Thanks!

Hello,
Please be informed that the you can exclude the local machine from rendering when using distributed rendering in V-Ray 3 or V-Ray Next for 3ds Max:
https://docs.chaosgroup.com/display/...deringSettings
That way you can edit your scene in 3ds Max with V-Ray while the remote render node performs the rendering.
This setup can be used with the either the Spawner or the V-Ray RT/V-Ray GPU render server.
However please note that if you want both your local workstation and the remote render node to contribute to the rendering process you will need an additional V-Ray 3.0 Render node license.
