what the heck - i have a fully licensed copy of vrscans. license server reports correct information - license is there and available. Finally get around to doing my final render at high res - and a watermark appears all over the vrscan material. Not good !!!!!!! How to avoid this ? (Max 2019.1) Windows 10 pro latest edition as of today.) Vray NEXT latest version as of today.

That can happen for example if you have fewer Vrscans render node licenses than your V-Ray render node licenses. In that case, each V-Ray render node that cannot find a Vrscans render node license will render with Watermark.
If you have enough licenses - try another render and if the result is the same (watermark) - message us at support@chaosgroup.comLast edited by ivan.slavchev; 18-06-2018, 01:21 AM.Ivan Slavchev

Hi Ivan,
I have more VRscans licenses available than V-Ray render node licenses. I was rendering with NEXT & I have 6 vray node licenses (but only 4 render node computers ) and i have 11 Vrscan render licenses.
The real problem is that if there is the possibility - even just a 1% chance - that a final render that is on a tight deadline gets totally screwed up because of an over-zealous license protection system - then the whole thing becomes a liabilitye. On that project I had to replace any Vrscan materials with regular materials as this was the only certain solution. I dont feel at all good about the fact that there is always going to be the threat of a watermark appearing on a final render owing to some silly glitch in the licensing system or in the local network perhaps. Is there no way this watermark threat can be turned off permanently for paying customers ?Win10.Ryzen1950X. 80GbRam. RTX3080.RTX2070.Sketchup 22.0.354.VRaySketchUp.6001. - NvidiaStudioDriver 527.37
