  • Error: Could not obtain license (1002)

Hi, i am receiving an error, again. Error: Could not obtain license (1002). It happened yesterday, where it looked like the online license server was showing that the render node was "in Use" even after restarting the computer and uninstaling/installing VRay. Then after a few hours the node and interface showed as "available"

    Now it is happening again

Attached is the screenshot of what i see. I was able to render this morning without problems, then right now in the afternoon i was able to render one frame and then got the error again.

    Please advise.

    Thank you

The error 1002 means that all of your licenses is engaged and you are not able to work with V-Ray. In order to find which ip address(machine) engaged and using your license at the moment, please click on the orange number 1, under the Engaged(In Use) column and check the ip address of the machine, If the ip address is of another machine, please check that machine and try to release the license when you close V-Ray there or check if you already borrowed your license.
If you provide us with your username, we can check it in our system. You might also write us an e-mail at : support@chaosgroup.com
