  • Licenses Disappeared from License Server

    I don't know what's happened but all my licenses are now gone. Everything was working fine Saturday. I woke up Sunday and started getting a "Could not obtain a license error (-197) so I went to "manage license server" and no license at all was listed for "3ds Max | Vray" and only 3 of my 12 render node licenses were listed. I reached out 24 hours ago and still haven't heard back.

    When I go to manage my license server, it takes me to a webpage (http://localhost:30304) and shows my dongle is working and everything but that I have no 3ds Max licenses and only 3 render node licenses. I lost an entire day worth of work yesterday and can't really afford to lose another.

    Please advise

    Similar - for SKP - cannot activate license.

    So I've tried the following and no success:

    Uninstalled VRay and Swarm. Tried to Uninstall license server, which shows up in my apps but it will not Uninstall .... frustrating.

    Also localhost 303034 does not load.

      Hello,

      braddewald - it seems that the issues that you were having were related to dongle reprogramming. You should have received an .rtu file for the license upgrade. Please let us know if you experience any further issues or if you have not received the file yet.

      sharifm - the issues seems to be related to the license server setup. Can you please reinstall the license server using the latest build available here:
