Failed to checkout V-Ray GUI license

Just installed Vray 3.6 and get this message when trying to use any of the v-ray buttons. I tried updating the license server but did not help. Any suggestions?

Also... when I try to access the license server by using the "manage chaos group license server" it opens the browser window but i get a "cant reach this page" message. ive also tried using a couple of diffrent search engines.

Hello,

Can you please check if the license server is blocked by an antivirus or a firewall application at port 30304. It might be necessary to add the exception manually. Afterwards please reinstall the license server using the latest standalone installer available here:

If you are still not able to reach the page at http://localhost:30304 afterwards please try installing this version of the license server instead:
