hey all, I'm hoping someone will notice this and be able to provide a bit of assistance. We needed to add 2x next render nodes very quickly to our farm for a project (we have plenty of 3.6 - our normal workhorse, but this project calls for NEXT). Anyways, I needed them very fast, so instead of going thru our normal reseller here in the states, I figure I would buy them directly from CG on their own site using our account that all licenses are linked to. I had assumed it would be an instant transaction and would be the quickest way to get them into our farm.
Fast forward 12 hours - nothing, so I sent an email to support@chaosgroup.com. Fast forward another 24 hours and still nothing. It has now been 48 hours since purchase and we still don't have these licenses for something I needed 2 days ago. Can anyone here on the forum please try to push this thru?
On a side note: how does the licensing backend work? When we purchase with a reseller, it takes about a day for it to appear because of the time difference, and honestly, that is fine with us. But is this not an automated process when I purchase thru CG? Is there no quicker way? I'm obviously very frustrated, but a bit miffed as well - if I need UBL licenses for Deadline, I can hope onto their portal right now, and in 5 mins I can have licenses to any one of their products OR anyone of their UBL licenses for render nodes (3ds max, vray, etc etc)
