Well we couldn't wait around any more, we've swapped our renders for the night over to Arnold since 3ds Max comes with it by default. Funnily enough it can apparently render the Vray standard material. Can't batch render but we can at least limp along on a few workstations. What a mess.

The major problem is also that it effects southern hemisphere users the most of all as Chaos Group are not working overnight. Might be majority of the working day this isn't resolved.

Actually the Chaos Group folks are in Bulgaria, which means they should be starting their work day in about 2 or 3 hours. Hopefully they'll be able to resolve the issue quickly.

We had an outage of the licensing system, but it should be back online now. Many apologies for the inconvenience. Our licensing team is working to make sure temporary connectivity issues do not stop you from working in the future.

            Best regards,
            Vlado

What would be the correct method of requesting a dongle please?
I'm mid jobs and also about to move house and the thought of not having access is worrying
