Licence at start-up

I have a dongle attached to my PC even though I swapped to online licencing a few months ago and have the licence kick in on start-up.

I took it out today (because I needed the USB) and found that the licence hadn't started when I opened Max (all black in the Material Editor), so I popped the dongle back in and restarted PC.

Licence still hadn't kicked in automatically so had to start it manually. That works OK, BUT now it never kicks in automatically at start-up. How do I solve that?

Also, I assumed when I took out the dongle it would get the licence online...however, just seen recent posts about online licence being 'down', so perhaps under normal circumstanced it would have?

What is the version of the License Server you use? If you have migrated the dongle licenses online the dongle is no longer needed, so you can remove it. Please send us a screenshot of what you see on http://localhost:30304 to support@chaosgroup.com, so I can take a better look.
