-200 error. Followed all instructions/help. Still isn't working.

  • -200 error. Followed all instructions/help. Still isn't working.

    Was getting a -197 error. Now am getting -200 error.

    This is all on next with a next install. The host app is MODO 13.

    I am not using a proxy, have check the box during install and added vrol.exe firewall exception manually...and have internet connection. Uninstalled V-ray, the lic server, and deleted the programs folder and reinstalled everything. Still a -200 error. So that does it for the trouble shooting section of the docs as far as I can tell.

    Where can I see a list of error codes with more info?

    I really love V-ray, but honestly the lic server, while better then when it was first rolled out a few years ago is still unreliable for me for some reason.

    This is so frustrating. I can't even borrow my lic, the server seems down or something. This is on the same computer I'm writing these posts from so I for sure have a connection to the interwebs. I tried downloading the trial and installing that, but predictably that also didn't work. It's looking like I'll be a day out of work. Hope my client is understanding.

        Hello,

        Please uninstall the Chaos Group license server and remove any remaining files from the following folder:

        C:\Program Files\Common Files\ChaosGroup

        Afterwards, download and install the latest Chaos license server 5.5.0 from the following page:

        https://download.chaosgroup.com/down...dalone-550-adv

        Go to the Chaos License server page (http://localhost:30304), enable your Online/Dongle licensing and tell me if you can see your V-Ray licenses. Send us screenshots from the localhost page to support@chaosgroup.com, if you continue to experience this issue.
