  • Please urgent help needed on licensing!

    Please are there any online chat/helps or anything on licensing issues? Uninstalled everything and installed latest Vray Collection (includes Vray and Phoenix FD) and also installed latest Chaos Group License Server etc.
    Now just can´t get it working! From myChaos I can see that ALL THE PRODUCTS ARE ACTIVE, but cannot just get the licensed from the "License Server". Only shows the old licenses there which can´t be used either.
    Restarted everything, internet is available etc etc, but no luck. Licensing any Chaosgroup product is a nightmare, has always been. Don´t get me wrong, love the products but licensing.. oh my f**ing God.

    We are sorry for the caused inconvenience.
    Could you please do the following in order to clean and re-install the V-Ray Online license server 5.5.3:

    1. Please close the Services window in your OS(if it is opened) and uninstall the V-Ray Online license server from your Start menu>Control Panel> Add remove programs
    2. Make sure to delete the folder C:\Program Files\Chaos Group\VRLService
    3. Go to the folder "C:\Program Files\Common Files\ChaosGroup" and delete all files and folders except "vrlclient.xml", which is needed.
    Please download and install the latest V-Ray Online license server 5.5.3 from our website:
    https://download.chaosgroup.com/?platform=47&product=48
    After the installation is completed, please check if the V-Ray Online license server status page "127.0.0.1:30304" is available and you are able to click "Online licensing" >Sign In and enter your credentials.
    If the same issue appears, please confirm if you have a running antivirus or network firewall/proxy that might be stopping the online licensing?

      Hi,
      Thanks, did everything and now I can see the license in the license server, but when I go to 3dsmax I get this:

        Just to be clear: I upgraded a excisting VRay Next license to Vray Collection and installed a new Vray 5. Is this right? So Vray Collection = Vray 5?

          Now my Licensing server looks like this, still I cannot see Vray5 (Vray Collection?) license anywhere?

            Thank you for your confirmation.
            Most probably you are signed in with another account. Could you please send a screenshot of the web page "127.0.0.1:30304", so I can see which account is activated and what you see there? If you want you can send an e-mail to support@chaosgroup.com, so we can check and investigate your account and licensing issue. Thank you.
