Cannot sign out of an old account

Hello,
i recently purchased an educational licence and installed Vray for Rhino as well as the Chaos Licence Server. I was however previously logged in with a work licence (that expired long time ago). I cannot seem to sign out of that account to sign up with my new educational licence. There is simply no such option as I click on 'online licencing'. I researched for hours, tried everything including turning off the firewall and messing with proxy settings. I also uninstalled and installed the Chaos Licence Server a couple of times. Has anyone had this problem before?
