Returning a license

I borrowed a license, troubleshooting something; how do I un-borrow it? I created a new user and now I can't use V-Ray, becasue the old user has it checked out.

I had to log into my other user, deactive, and then I could log into my new user.

I am still having issues. I am not sure what this is and I don't see anyway to get rid of it.
