Do I have to release my licence before reinstalling?

I need to reinstal all 3DSmax 2025, should I release my Vray GPU 6 licence before?
And how?
Is it automatic?

I cant find the information in the documentation...

Only if you have licenses borrowed for offline use. You release them from http://localhost:30304 Online licensing --> Release license on the computer where they are borrowed. If you don't have licenses borrowed for offline use you don't need to do anything.
