  • Failed to check render license

Am new no luck installing trial which I downloaded about an hour ago was alerted that successfully installed I think - Using Sketchup 2018, Mac version 10.13.1- Just tried to install a few times. Inside extensio0n manager, V-Ray shows up signed and enable. But pallet is grey and after clicking on I get an alert that says: Failed to check out V-Ray render license. What did I do wrong?

Check if there isn't a conflict with some other extension ins SketchUp

    1. Uninstall V-Ray
    2. Open Sketchup and from the drop-down menu Window --> Extension manager disable Dynamic Components extension. Then create a scene and save it, it doesn`t matter what it will be, the important part is to make a save.
    3. After that close Sketchup, start it again, check in the Extension manager if Dynamic Components is still disabled and close Sketchup again.
    4. Install V-Ray and start Sketchup and try to render with V-Ray.

If that doesn't help it's best to write us at support@chaosgroup.com
