Error: Could not obtain an interface license (-200): The ChaosGroup License Server could not be reached.
It appears that there are two issues with the licensing setup:
1. Dongle drivers are not installed. Please follow the steps below:
- Unplug the dongle.
- Download and install the latest WibuKey drivers: https://www.wibu.com/downloads-user-...load/3355.html
- Plug in the dongle - preferably in the back panel of the computer in a USB2.0 port (avoid the blue USB3.0 ports if possible)
- Wait for the dongle to be recognized by the OS
- Go to http://localhost:30304 - the "Dongle" button should appear in green and you should be able to see your licenses listed there.
2. V-Ray is not able to reach the license server. Please try the following:
- Enter the IP address of the computer that has the dongle as the "Primary V-Ray License Server" (in case it is on the same machine please use 127.0.0.1 ): https://docs.chaosgroup.com/display/...cense+Settings
- Check if there are any firewall/antivirus applications that might be blocking the access to port 30304 (if necessary please add the exceptions manually):
- Afterwards restart Maya and try to render with V-Ray.
